Hoboken To Hold 'Big Match Block Parties' With FIFA World Cup Games On Outdoor Screen

This weekend will kick off 12 days of Hoboken neighborhood parties with food vendors and soccer matches on big screens. See the schedule.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken will host 12 days of World Cup block parties with local vendors selling food and the FIFA games on a big scream.

The city of Hoboken and the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) have released details of the “Big Match Block Parties" from June 13 through July 19.

The parties will include interactive soccer games and activities for fans of all ages, family-friendly programming, and outdoor dining and beverage service.

The Big Match Block Party Schedule is as follows:

Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Zone 4: Fourteenth Street between Bloomfield & Washington Streets

3 p.m.: Qatar vs Switzerland 6 PM: Brazil vs Morocco

Hospitality by The Madison, Baja Mexican Cuisine, and Kiki Lu Gelato.

Sunday, June 14, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Zone 5: Sinatra Drive between First and Fourth Streets

1 p.m.: Germany vs Curaçao

4 p.m.: Netherlands vs Japan

7 p.m.: Ivory Coast vs Ecuador

Hospitality by The Lola, The Pig & Parrot, and The Ainsworth

Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth), 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Zone 3: Grand Street between 14th and 15th streets

3 p.m.: USA vs Australia

6 p.m.: Scotland vs Morocco

Hospitality by Carpe Diem, Hoboken Biergarten, San Giuseppe, Bwe Cafe, Ivory Baking Company, and Alessio’s Cafe

Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

4 p.m.: Germany vs Ivory Coast
