Hoboken Restaurant Closes After A Year In Business: Here's Why

A relatively new Hoboken restaurant closed for good this weekend. See why.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A niche Hoboken eatery on the west side of town, The Biscuit Babe, closed for good on Sunday, the owners said.

The owners explained in a social media post that they decided not to renew their lease.

"It is time for us to say goodbye to Hoboken after an unforgettable journey," the said.

But they noted they have plans to reopen elsewhere.

The Biscuit Babe opened at 918 Willow Ave., the former location of D's Soul Full Cafe.

The spot served up varieties of biscuit varieties like a chicken and waffle biscuit, cinnamon biscuit, cheddar cheese biscuit, and more.
