HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's Police Department is participating in the annual National Night Out this Tuesday, an event meant to encourage neighbors to get to know each other and their local police.
The event is designed to promote safety and positive interactions with law enforcement.
Activities And Giveaways
Each year, Hoboken offers a fair during the event, with bounce houses, safety demonstrations, giveaways (keychains, coloring books, other items), food (some of it free), music, and more.
The city said this year's event will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Tuesday at Church Square Park, Fourth Street and Park Avenue.
"Join the Hoboken Police Department and law enforcement/first responder partners," the city said.
The partners who will be on-site include: Hoboken Fire, Hoboken OEM, Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Stevens Institute of Technology PD, Hudson County Sheriff's Office, Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, NJ Transit police, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey police, and many more.
It will be a "night of community, neighbors, family-fun, and a celebration of public safety!"
