HOBOKEN, NJ — A 25-year-old Hoboken man was arrested last month for aggravated sexual assault, officials confirmed.
Joshua A. Mercado was charged for assaulting a child under 13 in Hoboken back in June, according to records.
Mercado was charged on July 21 and arrested in Plainfield on July 22, records show.
He was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
