Netflix Cancels Planned Filming In Hudson County Park

A Hudson County park will not close on Tuesday for a film shoot, as previously announced.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — After Hudson County officials said a county park would partly close for filming on Tuesday, the shoot has been canceled, officials said.

Originally, the Hudson County Improvement Authority posted a notice saying the tennis and pickleball courts at North Hudson Braddock Park in North Bergen would be closed to the public on Tuesday, all day, for permitted filming.

"Please avoid the area during this time," the HCIA said in a notice. "Thank you for understanding."

But on Monday, an HCIA representative told Patch that Netflix had canceled the shoot, and the courts will be open.

The official did not have details on why the shoot was canceled, or what exactly was being filmed.

James J. Braddock Park is a large county park in North Bergen with a lake, wildlife, and athletic courts.

Several films are being shot around New Jersey right now.

Grown Ups 3

Most notably, Adam Sandler's drew has been filming the Netflix comedy sequel "Grown Ups 3" in several North Jersey towns, including Madison and Morristown.

A story in New Jersey Monthly said the comedian has been living in Short Hills with his family during the shoot. And reports from Hoboken Girl say members of the cast have been spotted at various downtown Hoboken restaurants.

Margaret Qualley was recently seen filming her new movie "Possession" in Jersey City's Hamilton Park.
