• Bayonne, Hoboken, & Jersey City join helicopter suit against Kearny's HHI Heliport (hudsoncountyview.com) — Hoboken has formally joined Bayonne, Jersey City, Kearny, and Hudson County in a shared legal fight over helicopter noise and safety tied to Kearny's HHI Heliport, capping its costs around $10–15K. Local council members debated fairness of the cost split and pushed for more towns to join, as officials cite years of complaints and a fatal 2025 crash near the Holland Tunnel.
   

• This Hoboken Bar is Hosting an Alix Earle Lookalike Contest (hobokengirl.com) — Hoboken's Madd Hatter bar on Washington Street is planning an Alix Earle lookalike contest with drink specials and a screening of her new Netflix show on Friday, September 4th. Spots are limited and signups run through the bar's Instagram, with a $300 Sephora gift card for the winner and clarification that Alix herself won't attend.
