HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A growing group of ramen restaurants will open its next spot in the lobby of a residential tower in Hudson County.
Montclair Hospitality Group will open the newest Ani Ramen location inside Harrison Urby.
Ani Ramen serves up Tokyo-style craft ramen at locations in Jersey City, Montclair, Cranford, Maplewood, Summit, and Larchmont, N.Y.
The new restaurant will feature a concept developed specifically for Harrison Urby, "built around Ani Ramen's signature ramen program alongside new Japanese-inspired dishes created for the space."
Urby itself is an expanding brand, offering residential buildings with social activities. New Urby buildings are in the works for Hoboken and Jersey City, and there are locations around the East Coast.
"Seamlessly integrated adjacent to Harrison Urby's lobby, Ani Ramen reflects Urby's ongoing commitment to designing spaces that bring people together and connect residents with the surrounding community through food and culture," said a release.
The restaurant will replace a popular eatery that closed recently, Charley.
"Charley became a true neighborhood destination, and we're thrilled to welcome Ani Ramen to carry that forward for our residents and neighbors," said David Barry, founder and CEO of Urby.
"We want to express how excited we are to finally team up with Urby! As long-time fans, we can't wait to introduce our new Ani Ramen concept to this neighborhood," said Luck Sarabhayavanija, Founder of Montclair Hospitality Group.

The restaurant will be located at 202 Angelo Cifelli Drive, Harrison.
