• Hoboken completes school zone safety improvements ahead of new school year (hudsoncountyview.com) — Hoboken has finished a wide set of school-zone safety upgrades, including new high-visibility crosswalks, daylighted intersections, clearer signage, and added bike parking around local schools. Drivers are being reminded of the 15 mph school-zone limit, and a new ordinance on temporary street closures for drop-off and dismissal is set for a final council vote on September 16 at City Hall.
