The Hoboken Shelter is seeking volunteers for the annual HoBOOken 5K & Scary Scurry Kids Run on Sunday, October 25 at Pier A Park in Hoboken.

Volunteers are needed for pre-race packet pickup as well as race-day roles including registration, bag check, medal distribution, Kids Scary Scurry assistance and other event logistics.

The HoBOOken 5K begins at 10 AM, followed by the Scary Scurry Kids Run at 11 AM along Pier A. Each year, the Halloween-themed race brings thousands of runners, families and spectators to Hoboken's waterfront.

100% of race proceeds benefit The Hoboken Shelter, helping prepare the Shelter to meet the increased needs of Guests during the busy winter months ahead while providing meals, shelter, housing support and other essential services.

Individuals and groups interested in volunteering can sign up here to be part of one of Hoboken's favorite fall traditions while supporting neighbors experiencing hunger and homelessness. No experience is necessary and all ages are encouraged to register.

For more information, email GetInvolved@HobokenShelter.org. Visit here to learn more about the HoBOOken5K race.
