HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police have released a photo of a man they say is a "person of interest" in a recent assault. They are looking for tips from the public.
Officials say they want to contact the man regarding "an ongoing simple assault and criminal mischief investigation."
The simple assault occurred on Tuesday at 9:38 p.m. near Fourth and Hudson streets, they said. The vandalism of cars occurred in locations throughout Hoboken.
The man is described as tall and white, with black hair, wearing an olive-green shirt with text on the front, dark blue sweatpants, and light-colored sneakers. He was also seen pushing a stroller filled with various items, police said.
