New Lego Store To Hold Grand Opening In Hoboken This Weekend

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken store that sells new Legos, used Legos, minifigs, and kits will host its grand opening this Saturday.

Bricks & Minifigs will open its doors at 11 a.m. this Saturday at 900 Monroe St., on the west side of town, three blocks from the 9th Street light rail station.

Besides selling and buying Legos, they also host parties and run builders clubs.

"Hoboken's first and only Lego aftermarket store opens its doors this Saturday at 11 a.m.!" said a spokesperson. "Bricks & Minifigs is a place for all things Lego: the newest boxed sets, retired and rare sets, minifigs of every imaginable type, bulk building areas for custom builds of sets and minifigs."

They added, "We will also be hosting parties, events, clubs, meetings, and any and all other forms of community outreach. The store operates on a Buy-Sell-Trade model, and will offer cash or store credit for any and all Lego sets, parts or minifigures in good, clean condition."

The store is locally owned and operated by Matt Power, a Hoboken resident since 2000.

"The store's heart and soul are fueled by the community's character and creativity," the representative noted. "And while nominally we sell weirdly-shaped plastic, what we actually do is awaken hearts of all ages to the Joy and Simplicity of creation. Come create something with us!"
