Hoboken Police Investigate Hit-and-Run That Seriously Injured Pedestrian (TAPinto.net) β Hoboken police are investigating a hit-and-run at 15th and Hudson that seriously injured a 39-year-old resident walking her dog early Saturday. City officials are urging witnesses to share any information or video, while the mayor and council members push for a safety review of 15th Street and potential improvements at the intersection.

Hoboken Tops Walk Score List as Most Walkable City in the U.S. (wdhafm.com) β Hoboken has been named the most walkable city in the United States, scoring an impressive 97 out of 100 on the Walk Score metric. For residents, that confirms how easily you can reach groceries, transit, restaurants, and Manhattan commutes on foot, thanks to the dense street grid, mixed-use buildings, and multiple transit options packed into just over a square mile.

Denville Weekday Trains Diverted to Hoboken Oct. 11 to Nov. 14, 2026 (denvillenow.com) β For about five weeks starting Sunday, Oct. 11, Midtown Direct trains on several NJ Transit lines will terminate at Hoboken Terminal on weekdays instead of Penn Station. Riders are urged to buy Hoboken tickets, which will be honored on PATH, ferries, and the 126 bus, potentially cutting trip costs while crews complete work on the new Portal North Bridge.
