BAYONNE, NJ — A 26-year-old Bayonne man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of child sex abuse material, prosecutors said.
Savion Drayton was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child/possession of child sex abuse material, said prosecutors on Wednesday.
Prosecutors said that between July 2024 and June 2025, the Hudson County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that suspected child sexual abuse material was being uploaded to the messaging app Kik, prosecutors said.
The investigation determined that Drayton owned the account, prosecutors said.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Secaucus and released on a summons to await his first court appearance.
