HOBOKEN, NJ — While it may not inspire the excitement of the Sydney Sweeney shoot in Hoboken last week, a Netflix limited TV series will shoot in the mile-square city for four days starting Wednesday.
"Dolce" last filmed in Hoboken in early September.
The crew is set to return to the city on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday.
They'll shoot from Ninth to 11th streets, close to where Sweeney filmed "The Housemaid's Secret" last week.
According to Netflix, the series is based on a novel called Enigma Variations. It will star English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Paul.
The plot involves Paul's romantic adventures with both women and men, from England to Italy.
A post on social media said the crew has also been filming in Greenwich Village.
Long Days
The crew will be in Hoboken for much of the day. On Wednesday, they're set to shoot from 11 a.m. to midnight. On Thursday, they intend to be on site from noon to midnight. Friday, they'll be around from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Monday they'll return from around 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
They will film in the area of Ninth to Eleventh streets from Washington to Garden streets.
They have advised residents that extra parking will be made available to them at an uptown garage.
