HOBOKEN, NJ — Back-to-school planning has begun in Hoboken. With COVID still a factor, boards of education have often had to adjust school schedules several times throughout the year — meaning parents must always check back to see if the calendar is updated, before making plans.
In the Hoboken school district, schools reopen to students on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022. Teachers begin training the week before.
Students have Sept. 26 off for Rosh Hashana and Oct. 5 for Yom Kippur. Schools will be closed Monday, June 18 for Juneteenth. Students are off Nov. 8 for Election Day and Nov. 10-11 for NJEA Convention days.
