Paintball Strikes Bergen County Teacher's Car As She Heads Home, Police Say

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A Fair Lawn teacher was heading home from school on Tuesday afternoon when her car was hit by a paintball, police said. Now they're investigating to see if she was targeted.

The teacher was driving south in her car on River Road, past Morlot Avenue, about a quarter mile from the school, said Sgt. Eric Eleshewich. The car was struck with a paintball, and because her window was open, the paint splattered inside, Eleshewich said.

The teacher reported the incident to police, who are investigating.

No one was injured, the sergeant said, and as of Tuesday night, there were no arrests.
