The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch in Hoboken beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday.
The Blizzard Watch goes through Sunday afternoon in Hoboken, New York City, the coastal portions of Northeast New Jersey and Long Island.
Forecasters with the NWS say there will be heavy snow and strong ”potentially damaging” winds. As much as a foot of snow will fall, and wind gusts could reach 50 mph.

Travel will be “extremely dangerous,” the NWS said, with visibility at a quarter of a mile or less.
