Bomb Threat Reported At Hoboken Supermarket; Avoid Area: Police

The Hoboken police said around 3:40 p.m. to avoid the area of the Hoboken ShopRite. They have since issued an "all clear."

HOBOKEN, NJ — UPDATE: At 4:37 p.m., the Hoboken police issued an "all-clear."

The city wrote, "Update from the Hoboken Police Department: The Hoboken Police Department, with the assistance of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and NJ TRANSIT K-9 units, has cleared the area of 900 Madison St. following a phoned-in bomb threat and deemed it safe. The area will be reopened to the public. Thank you to residents for their understanding."
