Eli Manning and Buddy Valastro Helping Bring Awareness To Rebuild Hoboken

Eli Manning and Buddy Valastro offer their full support to help Rebuild Hoboken

While most of us were getting our power back and trying to resume our live in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, 2 of Hoboken's most well known residents have been helping raise awareness for rebuildhoboken.org.  Carlo's Bakery's Buddy Valastro and NY Giants 2X Superbowl Champion Eli Manning have been doing more than their fair share in letting the world that not only is Hoboken open for business, but to let the world know Hoboken is coming back, better than ever!

Just today, Eli Manning toured Hoboken with members of the current administration to look at some of the homes, businesses and civic associations most damaged by Hurricane Sandy.  Dawn Zimmer said "Eli reached out and offered to help us in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. He spent the afternoon walking around with me and visiting some of the most devastated homes, businesses, and civic buildings. With his help, we're raising awareness for the Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund to assist individuals and businesses who lost everything. To help, please visit rebuildhoboken.org."

Buddy Valastro earlier this week himself reached out to rebuildhoboken.org organizers offering his help in any way possible.  Buddy went on his Twitter page and tweeted over the course of several days about the @rebuildhoboken efforts and also sent in several video clips to be used that will raise awareness that the bakery and all of Hoboken is open for business and that with everyones help, through volunteering and donating, Hoboken will be back on it's feet sooner rather than later.

Other notable Hoboken names have also been offering their time and efforts in helping let the world know about the efforts of the Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund.  Award winning actor Joe Pantoliano a.k.a. Joey Pants has gone on to Twitter to let his followers know about the efforts of Rebuild Hoboken as has Today Show anchor Natalie Morales, NY Jets Tight End Hayden Smith and Albie and Chris Manzo of The Real Housewives of NJ.

Several local businesses have been hosting their own fundraisers for Rebuild Hoboken and many more plan on hosting events in the near future.  To date approximately $42,000 has been received in contributions to help Rebuild Hoboken.
