HOBOKEN, NJ — Electricians from Hudson County government will try to fix a malfunctioning traffic light at the corner of 13th and Hudson Streets in Hoboken, near the Shipyard Development, later this week, said city spokesman Vijay Chaudhuri.

For now, the light is blinking yellow to slow drivers down. Before that, it was continually green, prompting residents to comment on Twitter about it.

Chaudhuri said, "This is a county road and county light. The light’s electrical equipment malfunctioned, and electricians will be attempting to fix the problem later this week. Stop signs were attempted to be put up however they have been falling, so a temporary fix is to make the light blinking yellow until the light can be fixed by the electrician."
