Event Details
Currently on view in the Upper Gallery of the Hoboken Historical Museum are a selection of works by Hoboken Artist McKevin Shaughnessy featuring his light sculptures, neon pieces, original metal table lamps and retro robots.
In addition, a shadow box and a companion scrapbook highlight Shaughnessy’s participation in a string of art parties and art-related events that occurred in Hoboken from 1987-1993. These include original party invites, postcard mailers, color photographs, and souvenir memorabilia marking a fertile time in his life along side Hoboken’s own flourishing arts and music scene during those same years.
The closing party for this exhibit will be on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 12 - 5 pm and will also be a featured stop on the Hoboken Artists Studio during that same weekend.
