Cat Gets Stuck In Car Engine At Hudson County Walmart
Police and animal control officers teamed up to rescue a cat that got stuck in the engine compartment of a parked car at Walmart.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Police and animal control officers in Hudson County teamed up to rescue a cat that got stuck in the engine compartment of a parked car at the Walmart in North Bergen earlier this week, authorities said.
According to a Monday social media post from the North Bergen Police Department, here’s how the rescue went down:
“This afternoon, Officer Rivero, along with Lieutenant Forese responded to Walmart on a call of a cat stuck in the engine compartment of a parked car. Upon arrival, Officer Rivero located the kitten stuck in the engine block area, but was unable to free this kitten from his hiding place. Animal control was contacted, responded, and was able to free the kitten from the engine area without being hurt. Not only do we serve and protect the public, but we also go above and beyond to serve and protect our furry friends. The kitten is now getting the love and care that’s well deserved and resting at our local animal shelter.”
