Children Can Ride NY Waterway Ferry Free For One More Month

NORTH JERSEY — NY Waterway, which operates daily commuter ferries between North Jersey and Manhattan, allowed children 11 and under to ride free starting July 8.

The offer runs through the last day of Memorial Day Weekend, Sept. 7.

Those who ride the ferry to Manhattan can then get a on a free bus to various parts of the city.

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult, and up to two children can ride with each adult.

The promotion applies to all routes except Metro North routes, the company said.

NY Waterway ferry routes offer daily service from Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken, Edgewater and South Amboy in New Jersey and Midtown, Battery Park City, and Wall Street in Manhattan.
