A dead body was pulled from the cold river near a NJ Transit train terminal this weekend, police said.
The body was pulled from the Hudson River near the Hoboken train terminal, the NJ Transit Police Department told Patch. A man had jumped into the river at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.
An officer attempted to rescue the man by jumping into the water himself but wasn't successful, according to police. The officer was sent to Jersey City Medical Center for observation.
