Death Of Hoboken Police Officer Announced By Department
A longtime Hoboken police officer died while at home, the department announced on social media.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken police officer has passed away at home while off duty, the department announced on social media on Saturday.
They wrote, "It is with profound sadness that HPD announces the unexpected death of PO Frank Francolino who passed away at home while off-duty today."
According to a story on a police swearing-in on NJ.com, he joined the department in 2008.
