Disabled Bus Slows Lincoln Tunnel Traffic As Commuters Fume

"How in 2019 is a disabled bus still such a common occurrence?" a rider questioned.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A disabled bus caused delays for commuters passing through the Lincoln Tunnel on Monday, authorities said.

During the morning rush hours, NJ Transit officials announced that bus service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal was experiencing 15-minute delays due to a “disabled independent bus” in the center tube of the Lincoln Tunnel.

NJ Transit’s delay estimate was ramped up to 30 minutes soon afterward. NJ Transit later told Patch that the disabled bus was from Peter Pan Bus Lines.
