HOBOKEN, NJ — "No Parking" signs were posted in a sizable portion of upper Hoboken early this week, leaving some residents to wonder about a vaguely mentioned county project and whether it will really take place for most of the month.

The signs said the "No Parking" rule was in effect from this past Tuesday, Aug. 2, all the way through Aug. 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City spokesperson Marilyn Baer explained this week, "Hudson County is conducting roadway improvements starting this week with replacing concrete ADA [Americans with Disability Act] ramps at various corners."
