Drones Reported Near Flights Landing At Newark
None of the flights took evasive maneuvers as a result of the drones, which were spotted around noon Sunday, reports said.

Drones were spotted near four planes approaching Newark Liberty International Airport Sunday, according to multiple reports.
Crews of the planes, which were between 2,000 and 3,000 feet in the air and eight to 13 miles away from the airport, spotted the drones, the FAA told NJ.com. None of the flights took evasive maneuvers as a result of the drones, which were spotted around noon, the report said.
Flying drones near an airplane is illegal and carries fines of up to $25,000, the Associated Press reported.
