Dutch's Sandwich Restaurant In Hoboken Plans Opening Day

A sandwich shop in Hoboken will replace a Greek restaurant. Find out when it'll open.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Want more sandwiches?

Dutch's Sandwich Shop, which already has a location in Montclair, plans to open next week in Hoboken, the owner said.

The restaurant has taken over the site of GreekTown, which closed last June after nine years at the corner of First and Garden streets.

The orignal Dutch's boasts menu items like The Flying Dutchman, a sandwich including a chicken cutlet, hot pastrami, and melted cheese; a Buff Daddy involving buffalo chicken, and bacon ranch cheese fries.

"We're super excited to be part of the community," owner Amir Kamal told Patch. "We're looking to bring back that mom-and-pop feel and great customer service to the people of Hoboken."
