5K Run/Walk for Japan Disaster Relief at Liberty State Park

 

 

Before the Snow, a Prudential CARES Disaster Relief 5K Run/Walk on October 30 at Liberty State Park will support Japan earthquake victims

What: Before the Snow, a Prudential CARES 5K run/walk to raise money for relief efforts to help victims of the earthquake in Japan                              

Why: Six months after the devastating earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, the families of northeastern Japan still need our help.  As part of its disaster relief program to provide assistance, Prudential has joined with Dentsu, PSE&G, the Japanese Medical Society of America  and a number of  other partner organizations to organize and support the Before the Snow 5K Run/Walk for Japan earthquake disaster relief.  All of the funds raised will be donated to the Japan Society Earthquake Relief Fund, which supports nine local nonprofit organizations on the front lines of relief and recovery.

When: October 30, 2011, (9 a.m. Registration, 10 a.m. Run/Walk Starts, 11:30 a.m.

Where: Historic Central Train Terminal, Liberty State Park, Jersey  City (On-site parking, shuttle bus from Exchange Place PATH, ferry from World Financial Center)
