On August 30 at 6:00 PM, our monthly Hoboken "Do it Yourself" event will feature local dance legend Tracy Everitt. Tracy will be here to lead participants in an introductory course in Wedding Dances. Students will learn some basic dances and moves while practicing with Tracy’s instruction –so dress to dance! Tracy Everitt had a long and distinguished career. He was choreographer to Liza Minnelli, and featured as the instructor on TLC‘s “Cake Boss” in January 2010 teaching dance to the whole Carlo family. He has worked as a professional Broadway dancer in many shows including Bye Bye Birdie and West Side Story. Tracy has been a dance instructor in Europe, Japan and New York City and has taught dance in his hometown of Hoboken for many years. We recommended that participants come with a dancing partner.
