Bring it On!
Are you competitive? Then Bring your best game to Hoboken Games on Saturday, April 28 where teams of up to 6 people will compete in a variety of challenges around Hoboken including, Flip the cup, Price is Right, Obstacle Courses, Wii sports, Guess the Ice Cream, and many more all hosted by local businesses. It is a bracket competition where winning teams will move on to win great prizes. Each team is guaranteed four games before elimination.
Don’t miss this great way win prizes, have fun and help out a local non-profit supporting children in Hoboken. TRUE Mentors, Hoboken’s only mentoring program for children ages 7 – 17, is hosting the first annual Hoboken Games.

TRUE Mentors brings together adults and children in relationship and we work to create events that support that. Hoboken Games is for anyone age 3+. The competitions will be separated into two groups Adults only and Families, see below for more details.

Date: April 28, 2012
Time: 1 p.m. Registration and Check in at Church Square Park Gazebo
2 p.m. Race Start participants go to assigned local businesses to play games. Each team will play 3 games in three locations before moving on to the finals
4 p.m. Elimination Rounds begin at the Post Party at the Quays, 310 Sinatra Drive
6 p.m. Winners are announced and Prizes are awarded
7 p.m. Post Party Ends
Games
Teams of up to six people will be grouped into 4 team sets. Within each set two teams will be matched and complete in three games. The teams that will move on to the elimination games will be the teams that win at least two out of three games.
The elimination games will be held at the post party location and each competing team will have to win each game to move on to compete in the next round.

- Ben & Jerry's Blind Guess the flavor
- Obstacle Course races
- Darts
- Wii Sports
- Hippity Hop Races
Hoboken Games Referees will be there to explain the rules for each game and make sure each team competes fairly.
Adult Teams
Teams of up to 6 people ages 13 and older can sign up to compete. Teams with teens ages 13 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult on the team. These teams will only compete against other adult teams, not against family teams. Games and Prizes will be designed for the adult teams. If an individual signs up without a team requested, they will be assigned a team on race day check in.
Family Teams
Teams with one or more children ages 3 - 12 can sign up to compete. Teams with up to 4 children must have 2 adults as active members of the teams. Games and prizes will be designed for families with children these ages and family teams will only compete against other family teams. If a child is signed up as an individual, they need to be assigned a parent name in the registration form. Children younger than 3 may be included in the day but can not compete for prizes.
Post Party
All teams will be invited back to join the post party celebration at the Quays, 310 Sinatra Drive and cheer on their fellow teams in the elimination rounds. Food and drink tickets will be sold at the door.
