Liberty Humane Society's Bark In the Park

Liberty Humane Society will hold its Seventh Annual "Bark in the Park" fundraising & non-competitive walk event on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 on the North Field of Liberty State Park from 11 am to 3 pm.

Come join the Liberty Humane Society for a fun-filled day of activities and events with your dog. The day begins with a picturesque two-mile walk in Liberty State Park and continues with music from Fresh 102.7, games, contests (including a weight pull and costume contest for your pet!), and demonstrations by the Jersey City Police Department K9 Unit and by an agility course professional.  If you prefer shopping, there will be several craft and pet product vendors as well as terrific silent auction items that cannot be missed!  Looking for a new best friend?  Come wander down Adoption Alley, where we will have dogs and pictures of cats that are looking for their forever homes.

Register online and set up your own fundraising web page at http://www.firstgiving.com/libertyhumane  .  Admission to the event, walk and FREE microchipping for one dog is only $20 for one person.
