THE DETAILS

TO SIGN UP

To secure a bike, contact Jolene Matthews, at Sky Club at 917-582-7897.  A $10 donation guarantees you a bike for one hour and $20 will guarantee you a spot for the whole 2-hour challenge. Or sign up as a team of two and share an hour with a friend for a good cause. Please bring payment in cash or check – made out to Hoboken Shelter – on the day of the event. If you’d like to raise additional funds by having friends, colleagues, family pledge $1 for every minute your ride, you can write their name and pledge on side 2 of the sign-up form.  Bikes are available first-come, first-serve.  Donations are needed day of to ride.

I WANT TO HELP BUT DON’T SPIN OR CAN’T MAKE IT

In the week leading up to the event, Sky Club will collect monetary and in-kind donations for the shelter.  To see what items are needed by the shelter, please visit hobokenshelter.org.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

The Hoboken Shelter’s mission is to be a community partnership that transforms lives by providing meals for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and services to support people to become housed. They shelter 50 people nightly, serve 350 meals daily, and provide such support services such as food, shelter, case management, counseling, job and life skills training, creative arts workshops, and emergency homelessness prevention grants. These services help homeless guests develop the skills needed to gain employment, achieve independence, and re-integrate into the community.  Visit the shelter website at www.hobokenshelter.org or check out their Facebook page for more information.
