The Stevens community barbeque will run from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 – 5 p.m. outside of Walker Gymnasium and as always, will feature a wonderful variety of mouth-watering choices. Men’s lacrosse will start the day with a key Empire 8 showdown at the De Baun Athletic Complex against rival Nazareth College at 12 p.m. Softball will be at Weehawken Waterfront Park for a home doubleheader against E8 foe St. John Fisher College starting at 1 p.m. There will be a fan bus leaving from Palmer Circle throughout the day shuttling fans to and from the off-campus softball diamond. Men’s tennis will host a conference match against Empire 8 opponent Utica College at the Stevens Tennis Courts beginning at 2 p.m. and the final home event of the day will be the Ducks’ baseball team, also hosting a conference contest against Utica College. That showdown is slated for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch at Dobbelaar Field.
The Department of Athletics will be doing a special t-shirt giveaway at various locations throughout the day. The shirts will commemorate 40 Years of Women at Stevens.

Stevens will also be sponsoring its second Super Fan of the Day promotion of the 2011-12 academic year. Students that attend all four athletic events will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle Touch. Tickets will be available at each game starting at 11:45 a.m. (men’s lacrosse, softball, men’s tennis and baseball), and at each event, students will have to get their ticket stamped. Once the ticket has four different stamps, they can drop it off at the baseball game vs. Utica where the drawing will take place between the fourth and fifth innings. The winner must be present at Dobbelaar Field in order to win the Kindle Touch.
