A 15-foot tree branch came crashing down in Columbus Park in Hoboken on Thursday, narrowly missing a local mother and her young daughter.
The mother was sitting under an American Sycamore tree when the limb broke and fell “just a few feet away,” reported CBS New York.

Injuries and fatalities from falling tree branches are rare, but they do happen.
