A man tried to get back into a Hoboken bar after allegedly attempting to fight another patron, police said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police arrested an Englewood man after he allegedly became “combative” towards officers at a local bar last weekend, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, officers responded to Texas Arizona at 1:33 a.m. on Sunday after receiving a report about a fight. On arrival, police found Griffin Dorf, 23, of Englewood, bleeding from a head injury.
Officers spoke to several witnesses who told them that Dorf fell to the ground after attempting to fight another man in the bar. Dorf then got back up and tried to reenter Texas Arizona, but staff wouldn’t let him in, authorities said.

When police attempted to speak to Dorf, he allegedly became “very uncooperative” and “combative,” at one point grabbing an officer by the chest. He also resisted an officer’s attempts to handcuff him, authorities said.
Police found a suspected marijuana cigarette in Dorf’s possession. He was subsequently charged with aggravated assault and possession of a CDS, authorities stated.
