Rescued Ducklings Up For Adoption In Hudson County: Firefighters
Firefighters in Bayonne rescued a half-dozen orphaned ducklings from a storm drain, but the mother was nowhere to be found.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Firefighters in Bayonne likely had their cutest assignment of the week on Wednesday, rescuing a half-dozen orphaned ducklings from a storm drain in the city. And yes, the ducklings are up for adoption, authorities said.
According to the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management:
“Members of BFD Station 5 (Chosin Few Way) found 6 orphaned ducklings in a storm drain today. The firefighters went down into the catch-basin and pulled up the baby chicks, but no mother to be found. We have a call out to Raptor Trust for pick up tomorrow. If anyone wants to adopt, let us know!”
