Flood Advisory Issued For Hoboken, Jersey City
Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected through Friday morning in Hudson County, NJ.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Hudson County, as well as Bergen, Essex, Passaic, and Union counties through 9 a.m. Friday.
The NWS specifically cited Hoboken, Jersey City, Bayonne, and Newark among towns that "will experience flooding."
Thundershowers were expected.

The NWS said:
At 558 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rainfall rates of 1 to locally 1 1/2 inches per hour are likely.
- Rainfall rates up to 1 to 1 1/2 inches per hour are likely.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Bergenfield, Paramus, West Milford, Ridgewood, Summit, Lyndhurst and Millburn.
