Folk You, Hoboken, Timothee's Not Coming: Filming Of Bob Dylan Biopic Continues
Hoboken businesses were turned into Folk City and Cafe Doughin on Friday night for a Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothee Chalamet.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Two Hoboken storefronts were transformed to look like the East Village in 1965 on Friday night as part of filming for "A Complete Unknown," a Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothee Chalamet.
Chamalet didn't show up, but crew members filmed scenes on the corner of Eighth and Washington streets. A corner medical office was transformed into Folk City, a music club, and antique cars were parked outside. St. Matthew's Parish across the street was transformed into Cafe Doughin.
On Saturday morning, the cars were gone, but some of the flyers remained at Eighth and Washington, so go get a souvenir! See photos above and previous coverage here.
