“The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a national tour that travels to over 200 locations a year to promote activism, and Main Street Pops has been a National Tour Host for three years. We are thrilled to be hosting this important festival live and in person this year, and are so grateful to the Hoboken Business Alliance for making it possible for us to offer the event for free to the community.”, said Tracy Gavant, Co-Founder of Main Street Pops.
"As an urban coastal city, businesses in Hoboken are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change. A sustainable future is inextricably linked to the actions we take now," said James Runkle, President of the Hoboken Business Alliance. "We're proud to sponsor the 'Wild & Scenic Film Festival Outdoor Earth Day Celebration' to highlight ways our local business owners, and residents, will survive and thrive even in the face of climate change."
The free community event is produced by Main Street Pops, presented by The Hoboken Business Alliance and generously sponsored by local businesses, Hair Cult, GCM Homes and Natural Awakenings Hudson County. All suggested donations collected will benefit Team Wilderness.
