Free Food When New Hoboken Restaurant, Toastique, Opens Saturday
A former Hoboken resident will open Toastique's second New Jersey location this Saturday, with giveaways to his first customers.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The restaurant Toastique will open in uptown Hoboken early this Saturday and give away free a toast, smoothie, or a bowl to the first 25 customers.
The eatery, located at Washington and Fifteenth streets near the Tea Building, specializes in covered toasts (such as avocado smash, smoked salmon, and Greek) as well as smoothies and bowls.
Jude Sangillo, the owner, said this week, "I lived in Hoboken for five years, enjoyed every minute of it, and always dreamed of coming back to start a business in the mile-square city. I believe Toastique Hoboken fills a unique niche in capturing many of the current wants and needs by serving food that not only tastes great but leaves you without feeling guilt because it is genuinely healthy with accessible menu prices in a fast casual format."
