Grand Opening In Hoboken For Curry Up Indian Restaurant
This is the first East Coast location for the chain, which offers 'Indian street food' in a casual setting.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A restaurant serving up "Indian street food" will hold its grand opening Tuesday, offering free burritos to the first 100 guests, and half off their regular prices all day.
This is the first East Coast location for Curry Up, which has locations and food trucks around the country. The chain offers unique dishes, and even kids' meals, in a casual setting.
The meals include the traditional Indian ingredients and sauces, such as chicken, lamb, paneer cheese, and vegetables. But the menu offers a variety of bowls, naan bread dishes (including naan pizza), and scrumptious "Sexy Fries" which are sweet potato waffle fries with a kick.

Curry Up Now began as a food truck in 2009, founded by husband and wife duo Akash and Rana Kapoor. They say their mission is "to serve Indian flavors and ingredients in a way that is approachable for the everyday American consumer by utilizing formats that are more recognizable to the mainstream."
Signature dishes include tikka masala burritos, Deconstructed Samosas, Indian-style tacos, Naughty Naan, and more traditional dishes like Thali Platters, Kathi Rolls, and Bhel Puri.
