'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child' Wins Raves At Hoboken High School: Ticket Info

HOBOKEN, NJ — After Hoboken High School was selected last year as the only North American school to pilot "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" on a school stage, they're winning raves at early performances. The performances kicked off Wednesday and will run through Sunday. But how can you see it?

Most tickets were sold out by Thursday. Danielle Miller, the district's theater and fine arts supervisor, said some parents overbought or have cancellations and leave tickets at the door, so you can always come 30 minutes early to see if tickets are available. If tickets become available online, you can find them here.

This week, members of the Broadway show stopped by to surprise the young cast in Hoboken.

Now that Hoboken High School and a school in London were selected, 29 other schools in the U.S. have been selected to follow.

"Hoboken High School in Hoboken, New Jersey, and Riverside School in Barking, London, were selected as the first schools in their respective countries to perform the show," announced the Rowling Library website last year. "Riverside will debut its version in March, followed by Hoboken High in May."

The pilot production will allow the play's producers to figure out how to stage it at the other schools.
