Hoboken 2019 City Budget Workshops Open To Public

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken City Council will hold a series of public workshops for the 2019 Hoboken calendar year budget, officials announced Tuesday.

According to a municipal news release, members of the public are invited to attend the workshops, held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 94 Washington Street. Workshops are slated for:

Thursday, April 4

  • City Clerk’s office: 6 to 7 pm
  • Administration and Finance: 7 to 8 pm
  • Corporation Counsel: 8 to 9 pm

Thursday, April 11

  • Public Safety, Police Division: 6 to 7 pm
  • Public Safety, Fire Division: 7 to 8 pm
  • Environmental Services: 8 to 9 pm

The budget workshops originally scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 2 (Community Development, Health and Human Services, Transportation and Parking) have been postponed to a later date, to be determined by the City Council, officials said.
