Hoboken Art And Music Festival Schedule Updated For Weekend

HOBOKEN, NJ — The annual Hoboken Spring Arts and Music Festival takes place this Sunday.

It'll run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Washington Street, between Observer Highway and Seventh Street.

The free event features around 300 artists, crafters, and vendors and draws more than 30,000 visitors each spring and fall.

Live music performances are held on stages on both ends of the festival.

The Observer Highway Stage, a walk of a few blocks from the Hoboken Train Terminal, will host the event headliner, "Freestyle Fest."

Freestyle performers will include Betty Dee of Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Cynthia, and George LaMond.

Here is the schedule of concerts. Times are subject to change:

Observer Highway Stage

11:45 a.m. - Broadway's The Great Gatsby: Dan Rosales and Hoboken resident Dariana Mullen from the cast of Gatsby will perform two numbers from the show - Second Hand Suit and Better Hold Tight

12:45 p.m.- Dallas Connors (Hoboken resident)

2 p.m. - DJ Bripee (Hoboken resident)

3:30 p.m. – Freestyle Fest featuring, Betty Dee of Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Cynthia, and George LaMond.

Seventh Street Stage

11:45 a.m. - All Saints Bold Dancers

12:05 p.m. - Mile Square Theatre

12:30 p.m. - Drum Den

1 p.m. - School of Rock

1:30 p.m. - Finn Douglas

2:15 p.m. - 3 Dollars (Hoboken residents)

3:30 p.m. - Day 19 (led by a Hoboken resident)

4:45 p.m. - Janétza Miranda

Road Closures, Times

Due to the festival, road closures on Washington Street and adjacent east/west streets will begin at 5 a.m., with roads reopening after clean-up is complete, which is anticipated by 9 p.m.

Temporary No Parking signs will be posted, and NJ Transit buses will be detoured from Washington Street onto Hudson Street and Bloomfield Street.

Wheelchair-accessible seating can be made available for each performance with prior notice. Contact Hoboken Cultural Affairs at 201-420-2000 Ext. 5102 to make a request.

Accessible restrooms will be located near the main stage on Observer Highway and on Washington Street at Seventh Street.
