Hoboken Bar May Have License Yanked; Claims Of ‘Lewd Activity'
Teak On The Hudson, also known as The HUB, is facing 15 charges, including counts of "assault, lewd activity and acts of violence."

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken bar may have its liquor license yanked by the city ABC Board after being hit with 15 charges, including multiple counts of “assault, lewd activity and acts of violence,” officials announced Wednesday.
The office of Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla said that Teak On The Hudson LLC, also known as The HUB, will have a chance to be heard by the ABC Board during its meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. A final ruling on the license has not yet been made.
“This conduct will not be tolerated by my administration,” Bhalla stated. “We intend to fully prosecute any violations of The HUB’s liquor license to the extent permitted by law.”

No additional information about the charges was immediately available.
Authorities are probing claims that sex acts took place at the bar last Saturday, NBC New York reported. It was not clear if the alleged acts were consensual.
