Hudson County Assemblyman John Allen To Focus On Housing, Tourism, Art
New Assemblyman John Allen, who lives in Hoboken, has announced his committee assignments in the NJ Assembly.
HOBOKEN, NJ — As the state of New Jersey grapples with major issues, from affordable housing to finding new revenue sources, newly elected Assemblyman John Allen of Hudson County will contribute from several committees.
Allen, who represents Hoboken and part of Jersey City in the Assembly, announced Wednesday that he will serve on three committees: Housing; Financial Institutions and Insurance; and Tourism, Gaming and the Arts.
“These committee assignments will give me the opportunity to work on a range of issues that are important to the people of Hoboken and Jersey City as well as New Jersey as a whole,” he said in a release. “My seat on the Housing Committee, for example, will enable me to advocate and advance measures to making housing more affordable.”
