Hoboken Christmas Tree Lighting Event Returns For 2016
The City of Hoboken will host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting for 2016.

Hoboken city officials released the following update about the event on Monday: "Due to the forecast for rain, the tree lighting ceremony scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 6) will be rescheduled. A new date will be announced shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience." The event was later rescheduled to Dec. 14.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The City of Hoboken will host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.
According to a city news announcement, the event will take place in front of City Hall, 94 Washington Street, between 1st and Newark Streets. Local school children and performers will sing Christmas favorites, and the event will include a visit from Santa Claus and the Hoboken Fire Department, as well as prizes and giveaways from CBS FM 101.1.
