Hoboken Cops: Man In Bulls Cap Stole $70K Of Shearling Coats

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly stole 50 high-end sheepskin coats valued at more than $70,000.

On Friday, the Hoboken Police Department issued an alert about the super-expensive theft of 50 shearling coats from a closed retail business on Harrison Street. Police said that the theft took place around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 49 Harrison Street.

Surveillance cameras captured images of a man entering the business. Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male, with a medium build and facial hair. He was wearing what appeared to be a light-colored coat, a Chicago Bulls cap, light-colored pants and construction-type boots. (See below photos)
